Introduction
Georgia Tech release decisions on a rolling basis, meaning that they will notify students of their admissions decision as soon as they have made a decision. The majority of decisions will be released in late March/early April, but some students may receive their decision earlier or later than this.
When do decisions come out?
Early action and regular decisions for the fall semester are released in mid-December. For students who applied for spring admission, decisions are released on a rolling basis starting in late October.
How to check your application status
There are a few different ways that you can check your application status. The first is through the admissions website. Once you have logged in, you will be able to see your application status as well as any messages from the admissions office.
Another way to check your application status is through your MyGT account. This is the same account that you used to apply to Georgia Tech. When you login, you will be able to see your admissions decision as well as any other messages from the university.
If you have not received an email or message from either of these sources, you can always call the admissions office directly. They will be able to give you an update on your status and let you know if there is anything else that you need to do.
What if my decision is late?
If you applied for admission to Georgia Tech and have not yet received a decision, please check the status of your application to see if any additional materials are required. If your application is complete, we appreciate your patience as our faculty review committees make their decisions.
Decisions for fall semester admission will be available beginning mid-March. Decisions for spring semester admission will be available beginning in early October. Notification of your admission decision will be made through your Georgia Tech application portal.
