NCAA
The NCAA football rankings are out for Week 10, and the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets find themselves at No. 25 in the AP Top 25 and No. 24 in the Coaches Poll.
Football Bowl Subdivision
The Football Bowl Subdivision (FBS) is the top level of collegiate football in the United States. The FBS is the most competitive and prestigious level of football, with 120 teams divided into 10 conferences. Each conference has multiple tiers, or divisions, within it.
Georgia Tech is a member of the Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC), which is considered one of the Power Five conferences. The ACC is made up of 14 teams, split into two divisions: the Atlantic Division and the Coastal Division. Georgia Tech competes in the Coastal Division alongside schools like Clemson, Duke, Miami, North Carolina, and Virginia.
The ACC is widely considered one of the best football conferences in the country. In fact, at the end of the 2019 season, all seven ACC teams ranked in the Top 25 of both the AP Poll and Coaches Poll. As a result, it’s no surprise that Georgia Tech is currently ranked No. 17 in the AP Poll and No. 16 in the Coaches Poll.

While the team’s ranking may not be stellar, the school’s football tradition is robust, with fans flocking to Bobby Dodd Stadium to watch the Yellow Jackets play.

Georgia Tech is currently ranked #3 in the nation for basketball according to the NCAA Men’s Basketball Rankings.
Baseball
Georgia Tech’s baseball team is currently ranked #17 in the country according to the latest poll released by the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association (NCBWA). The Yellow Jackets have a record of 32-15 overall and 16-9 in conference play.
